COSMO is directed and represented by a Steering Committee, called STC, where each national weather service has a delegate.
The committee head Chairman currently is . The Scientific Project Manager (called SPM) acts as the committee's executive manager.

The various Working and PriorityProject groups are represented by their respective coordinators and task leaders. To contact them, see WGs and PPs.
